The Bucovina Sheepdog can be a native breed from the Carpathian Foothills, in Bucovina in the North-East connected with Romania. In this region, this breed's folks are used with great success pertaining to guarding herds and property. This dog can be called Dulau (shepherd's dog) and even Capau. The first standard was created inside 1982 and updated in 2001 from the Asociatia Chinologica Romana (Romanian Dog crate Club).
