Microsoft Continues Its Decline Into Becoming Ibm
Submitted as: John Tang
Recently I was watching CNN Money online, and an advisor was actually suggesting investors to invest in Microsoft since it is at almost $20 a share due to the drop in global markets. Microsoft's operating system competitor on the other hand is up 7%.
I then went to ArsTechnica.com to look up news, this article says: "Washington DC latest to drop Microsoft for web apps" (link: http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20081012-washington-dc-latest-to-drop-microsoft-for-web-apps.html).(read

Not Getting Targeted Traffic?
Submitted as: Larry Tang
When it comes down to it, I would rather have targeted traffic versus just traffic. Most logical people will. But what most web owners actually target is basic traffic. They do campaigns to increase traffic to their site, which in return wastes their time and money.(read

First, what is a "Long-tailed keyword"? It is a keyword phrase that has 3 or more words in it. I prefer to rank higher for longtailed keyword phrases versus generic keyword phrases for one reason: profitability. Also, the competition is most likely not paying attention to them.
Here is an example, if I want to buy a car, and know the kind of car I am looking for, for instance a Dodge Viper; I am going to type in "Dodge Viper Dealership Miami". But If I am simply looking for information on a Dodge Viper I will probably type in "Dodge Viper". That's how most Internet users think. Only when they are truly ready to buy a "Dodge Viper" will they ask for a more detailed search.(read

Farming The Front Yard
Submitted as: John Tang
Banishing the mower promised to reduce our carbon footprint and put fresh food on the table. But what would the neighbors think?
It was a normal vegetable garden in every respect but one—it was in front of the house. A front-yard garden is, by definition, in your face. (In your neighbors’ faces, in particular.) Sunflowers towering, tomato plants climbing, cabbages blooming, beans and basil proliferating like weeds. All growing naked for anyone to see—and, as my sister worried, for dogs to tear through. (Thankfully, they never did.)(read

Dune Restaurant In New Jersey
Submitted as: John Tang
Dining at the Shore brings a certain anticipation: nautical décor, open-air tiki bar, large platters of standard seafood and steaks delivered by no-nonsense waiters.
Dune, on the other hand, throws you a change-up. From the moment you enter the small, unassuming restaurant showered by the neon lights of its neighbor, the Margate Dairy Bar, you sense this will be different, beginning with the warm greeting from owner Nick Weinstein and the sign over the dining room entrance, “Be nice or leave.†By the time you do skidoo, you have dined on superior preparations of fish and meat, and perhaps gotten a little food education as well.(read

Nintendo's Marketing & Innovation Comeback
Submitted as: John Tang
For those growing up with a video game control in their hands, Nintendo has been the boldest, groundbreaking innovator of fun. With Nintendo 64, the company established their superior creativity, launching tittles such as Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros, guiding many individuals to the title of “hardcore gamersâ€, who, by adopting this new identity, have learned to expect more flawless products with each new product innovation. Simply put, Nintendo is the true leader of video game entertainment. Those committed to the company experienced rough times throughout the transition to the Game Cube, where, the Playstation 2 began their reign of the “hardcore gamer†market by launching more advanced and graphic-based games such as Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy. Consequently, many gamers surrendered their nostalgic bond with Nintendo and embraced the more aesthetically pleasing competition.(read

How I Do That “creative†Thing
Submitted as: Larry Tang
I have been trying to figure out why recently I’ve been able hit a home run with new projects, when in the past it was difficult to find the “creative†juice I need. I think I’ve figured out what motivates me into digging down into myself and connecting with the universe (life-stream, God, or whatever you believe in that gives you power and motivation), and channeling the energy that fills that blank canvas I am looking at.(read
