If you are in for more of the fashionable and happening, visit SoHo while you are in New York City. A place where you can find almost anything, especially the odd or unusual, SoHo offers numerous shops and just as many outdoor cafes and coffeehouses. The locals are as interesting and unique as anywhere else in the world.

While this is only a brief smattering of what New York City has to offer, it is most definitely a place to start.
