According to Denim Manufacturers Association, “Denim fabric has been ruling the fashion streets ever since it came into being. Looking at the popularity and the admiration that it has received from its followers, the manufacturers of wholesale denim fabric have always tried to bring out something innovative for them.”
During the span of last couple of decades, demand for a variety of denims took over the market. People wanted more stretchable, comfortable, active wear, skin friendly, waterproof, ecofriendly, body contouring denims, pregnancy & colored denims and denims in new and different washes among other varieties. These new varieties took the overstock jeans fabric market by storm. As the demand for such new varieties of denims increased, it became vital that denim manufacturers too looked forward to manufacturing newer, better and innovative denim fabric rolls.
Organic and ecofriendly denims are the newest innovation in wholesale denim fabric industry. The use of organic cotton along with the use of potato starch, natural indigo, recycling materials and fewer precious natural resources are used to ...
... manufacture organic and ecofriendly denims. The result is vegan and skin friendly jeans that are still fashionable but come with less of a price tag for Mother Earth.
Another innovation that was introduced in the market is the use of Cordura Denim fabric, which has been developed by using Lycra T400 fiber as well as Lycra fiber. These overstock jeans fabrics offers comfort and feel of cotton denim with long-lasting durability. Along with this, now-a-days, denim fabric rolls are also manufactured using polyamide, lycra, polypropylene or with polyester and a special bonding with a 100% nylon net for a more lively look. This fabric is actually a mix of nylon, cotton and elastane blend yarns.
One more development in denim world is the use of a new granular softening technology. This technology is used to manufacture denim fabric in order to increase its productivity. The specialty of this technique is that it has potentially reduced the use of amount of water, energy and labor required in the manufacturing process.
To meet these demands, wholesale denim manufacturers used new combinations of fabrics, incorporating never used before permutations and combinations. These innovations made denims fabric rolls much more stretchable, comfortable and durable, rendering them more wearable and easy to carry and denims once again became the most preferred apparel everywhere.
