In the Entebbe area, also called as Lutembe bay, you will observe a White winged Black-Tern roost of 2 million-3 million birds!
Savannahs: The savannahs in Uganda include Karamoja in the north-eastern region which is remote with semi-dessert and dry thorn scrub area. To the western rift valley, savannahs are rich and fertile. The Queen Elizabeth National Park which is located in this area confines around 604 species of birds and is the greatest number for any restricted region in Africa.
