Article Writing Tips - Steps That Will Energize Your Articles
1. Carefully choose your subjects. As you know, the success of your articles will largely depend on the topics that you choose to write. If you go with those ones that are uninteresting, you can be assured that no one will pay attention to your copies. As you surely don't want this to happen, you need to stick with topics that will grab your readers by the throat. Get to know the best things to talk about on your articles by doing keyword research, by doing interviews, and by conducting surveys.
2. Use killer titles. This is just as important as choosing interesting topics for your articles as this is what will draw your readers in. As this is the first thing that your audience will going to see, make sure that it will leave a lasting impression. Your titles must be expertly-written. They must have what it takes to persuade your target audience to open and read your articles.
3. Research your topics thoroughly. Great articles are those that contain in-depth, complete information. You can create such articles if you spend enough time to gather all the important data that can make your articles informative. I suggest ...

4. Plan ahead. Develop a very descriptive outline before you start writing. This must contain ideas as to what information you're going to include in your articles and in what order you're going to present them. Ensure that your outline will help you make your articles sound interesting to read.
5. Use snappy, catchy headlines. Just like when creating any other written material, it's very important that you're able to capture the attention of your target readers the moment they laid their eyes on your headlines. They must feel that certain urge to read what you've written. This will happen if your titles are expertly written, attention-grabbing, very descriptive, and benefit-driven.
6. Be passionate. You'll most likely to get the kind of response and attention you need if you're very passionate on what you do. It would help if you run a blog about topics that you really, really love or those that are aligned to your areas of expertise. Through this, I am pretty sure that you'll have a great time writing your blog posts.
7. Include bullet points and numbered list. Just like what I've done in this article, you should also consider having bullet or numbered lists on your blog posts. These will make your content scannable and readable. This is applicable if you're giving out tips and recommendations.
8. Use keywords. Make your blog show up on the search engine listings by making each of your blog posts keyword-rich. Insert the terms that you're targeting on your titles, sub titles, sub headings, and at least once on each paragraph.
9. Offer valuable content. Give your audience great reading and learning experience by making sure that your content contains information that they can actually use. These include information that will increase their knowledge on their areas of interest, solutions to their problems, and guides on how they can do some things on their own.
10. Make your posts easy to understand. I am sure you don't want to drive your readers away. So, ensure that you share your in-depth knowledge in a very easy to understand manner. There is no need to use big, fancy words. Just write simply -- as if you're talking to a 10th grader. Your readers will appreciate it if they don't have to check their dictionaries just to understand what you're trying to tell them.
11. Review and edit your posts. Check what you've written before you use it on your blog. Remember, your posts will represent you in the online arena. These will be used by your target market to gauge your integrity, expertise, and your professionalism. So, make sure that your articles will help you project the kind of image that you would like to project. Ensure that they're flawless and that they will represent you as someone who is trustworthy and the best in your chosen niche.
12. Stick with facts. As you can affect public opinion, make sure that you do not resort to blatant lies just to get your target audience to pay attention. Remember, having a great reputation is very important to succeed in the online arena. So, stick with the truth all the time.
13. Talk to your audience. Write the same way when you're talking to those people who are eager to know what you know. Explain using common terms. Give out examples and relevant stories that can help in promoting better understanding. Address your audience using "you" and "your" all the time. Inject humor, ask question, and be spontaneous so you can engage your readers.
