TP-Link is a company that develop wide range of WiFi routers. There are various models of routers develop by the company. These routers use MIMO technology to provide maximum coverage and also provide high speed of up to 3200 Mbps. These type of WiFi are suitable for small offices and Home network. You will enjoy hassle free internet access as the routers provide high performance with high speed. The combination of high speed and performance and maximum coverage within the area give us the best access to the internet. We can upload documents, media files and HD videos in no time. The setup process is easy.

To setup the router follow the steps given below:

STEP 1: Connect an Ethernet cable from WAN slot of the tp-link router to your cable or DSL modem.
STEP 2: Connect an additional Ethernet cable from any Ethernet slot of your tp-link router to your laptop or computer
STEP 3: Restart your tp-link router and modem, wait for the lights to be steady green or white both on router and modem
STEP 4: Launch a web browser and type HTTP://www.tplinkwifi.net in address bar of your browser, alternatively ...
... you can use default IP address 192.168.0.1, a login screen will appear, use username as admin and default password also as admin
STEP 5: Choose your connection type i.e static, dynamic, PPPOE or PPPOA, as per your internet service provider, in case of PPPOE connections, you need username and password, VCI values to setup connection between the modem and your host router(tp-link ).
STEP 6: Update username SSID, network name as well as network security key, or you can leave the same as on router label
STEP 7: Update router firmware to latest, you can download the latest firmware from tp-link download centre official website.

It is necessary to make an account to change and configure settings of the router.

1. Set up the TCP/IP Protocol in Obtain an IP address automatically mode on your computer.
2. Launch a web browser and type in HTTP://tplinkwifi.net or HTTP://192.168.0.1. Use admin for both username and password, and click Login.
3. Create a new username and password for subsequent login.

The Tp-Link router has a feature called Guest Network. This feature allows you to make a separate network for guests so that there is no interference with your main network.

Follow the steps to setup guest network:

1. Type HTTP://tplinkwifi.net in the address bar of the browser window and log in with the username and password you set for the router.
2. Go to Advanced then Guest Network.
3. Create a 2.4GHz or 5GHz guest network according to your needs.
4. Click 2.4GHz, 5GHz-1, or 5GHz-2 and select Enable.
5. Set a SSID. Don‘t select Hide SSID unless you want your guests and other people to manually input this SSID for Wi-Fi access.
6. Set Security to WPA/WPA2 Personal, keep the default Version and Encryption values, and set a password.
7. Click on Save button.
Now your guests can access your guest network using the SSID and password you set.
