Printing is for reproducing text and images using a master form or template. Printing is of two types Digital printing & Offset printing. Digital printing is a printing technique using digital or electronic files from a personal computer. Digital printing does not rely on a press plate to carry the image and also does not require any setup sheets. Digital printing has replaced lithography in a wide range of markets due to lower production costs. The modern method of production that makes prints from electronic files is called digital printing. It involves your artwork being created on a computer and then printed directly onto the material of your choice. Digital printing is an alternative to traditional methods such as lithography, flexography, gravure, letterpress, and others- it eliminates many of the mechanical steps required for conventional printing, such as making films and color proofs, manually stripping the pieces together, and making plates.
Benefits of Digital Printing:
High Quality : This offers impressive quality and consistency over the other options. The colors show up perfectly on the prints and ...
... there are no issues with harsh lines.
Timeliness : There are fewer steps in the printing process, and as a result, the final product can be delivered quicker.
Cost Effective : Because printing plates are not required, there is less investment involved to set up a single job.
Short Runs :Producing short to medium print runs compared to traditional methods.
Customization : The most affordable solution to customize marketing materials, direct mail pieces and letters, business cards, and more.
Offset printing technology usually made from aluminum and then rolling that image onto a sheet of paper. The ink is not transferred directly onto the paper that is why it is called Offset. The offset printing advantages are high and consistent image quality. The process can be used for small, medium or high-volume jobs. The pages can be pre-cut to the final publication size or trimmed after printing. These are fed with large rolls of paper and the individual pages are separated and trimmed afterwards. Sheet-fed offset printing is popular for small and medium-sized fixed jobs such as limited-edition books. Web offset printing is more cost-effective for high-volume publications whose content changes often, such as metropolitan newspapers.
