While the most people claim their health is of paramount importance to them, they are unable to invest the time and effort required to improve and protect it. It is hard to believe that the health of many people is hurtling down a spiral of decline and they just sit back and accept it. Every second person in the world is facing at least one chronic disease or illness and many have multiple conditions that seriously affect the quality of their life. The very first step in developing a healthier life is to decide on goals you’d like to reach. Assume that you believe in good health and that is important for you.
Many of us believe that our posture is related to our health. This means that if you have a poor posture while sitting for many hours, you are more likely to develop poor health. Here are the some hazards of sitting all day explained below:
• The first problem is pain. People who often slump over may experience problems in the spine. The spine might become misaligned. When this happen, it directly affects the nervous system and causes a lot of pain which may be sometimes unbearable too. This pain can become ...

• The second problem is headache. This can be accorded with the narrowing of the blood vessels located in the neck area. As the blood cannot reach the head area efficiently. Due to this an individual can face many problems such as headache which further lead to migraine and cervical pain too.
• The third problem can be digestive disorders because when we keep sitting whole day our inner organs become contracted and unable to get enough space. As a result they cannot function properly. Sometimes there might even be damage especially when it includes stomach and intestines too. GERD or acid reflux happens when the acid is formed in the stomach and it is squeezed out because of long time sitting posture.
• Fatigue can also be a problem which occurred due to bad posture or sitting. Excessive tiredness can be a result of poor posture. When your body is in an inappropriate position, some organs and blood vessels may get compressed. As a result, the blood will not be able to flow smoothly and transport the required minerals and nutrients that need to be transported. When this happens, the blood will not be able to perform well and our body fails to produce energy immediately. If you start feeling tired without any prior reason then your body may be want you to stand straight.
• One more problem can be back pain. A lot of people are complaining about having a back pain. Some people believe that spine ache and back pain is similar thing but they can actually be different. Back pain is a result of continuous sitting is most of the cases. This is because your back is in a position that brings severe pain to the body.
