NIMCET (National Institute MCA Entrance Test) - NIMCET is a national-level entrance test conducted by NITs (National Institute of Technology) for admission to their MCA programme. NIMCET scores are accepted by all the NITs.
Eligibility: Candidates should have studied Maths/Statistics/Business Maths in graduation as well as 12th and should have a minimum aggregate of 60% in class 12th and graduation.
Important Dates(Tentative): The online application form submission will begin from February, 2017 and the process will end in April , 2017. The exam will be held in May, 2017.
Exam pattern: The entrance test is of 2 hours and has 120 multiple-choice questions with four choices in each question. Each correct answer carries 4 marks and wrong answer fetches 1 negative mark. Mathematics has 40 questions, Computer awareness has 10 questions, Analytical ability and Logical Reasoning has 55 questions and General English has 15 questions.
Selection: The list of candidates to be called for counselling/seat allotment is based on the ranks published on the websites of all the participating NITs offering MCA programme.

JNU MCA - Jawaharlal Nehru University MCA Entrance Test: The University conducts JNU MCA entrance exam for offering admissions to candidates in MCA programs.
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with adequate competence in Mathematics less than 10+2+3 pattern of education with at least 55% marks.
Important Dates(Tentative): Availability of JNU MCA 2017 Application form will start from February, 2017 and the application process will be closed in March, 2017. The exam will be scheduled in May, 2017.
Exam Pattern: The paper consists of Mathematics and probability, General aptitude, Reasoning and fundamentals of Computer Science. The questions are of objective type.
Selection: Students are selected through rigorous process of examination, nearly 22,000 graduates compete neck to neck and among them around 46 high brass candidates are selected from the country. The candidates should score well in both the written tests as well as the personal interview to get the admissions.

BITS MCA- Birla Institute of Technology MCA Entrance Test: Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) Mesra is a deemed university and was founded in 1955. BIT MCA entrance test is conducted every year for admission to MCA courses at its various centers.
Eligibility: Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in average in Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and a bachelor’s degree in BCA/ B.Sc in Computer Science, B.Sc/ BA.
Important Dates(Tentative): The online form filling process will start in March, 2017. The deadline for submission of online application is April, 2017. The online entrance exam will be held in June, 2017.
Exam Pattern: The online entrance is of 2 hours duration and has 120 objective type questions on Mathematics, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning and Computer awareness.
Selection: Upon declaration of the result each centre will shortlist candidates for counseling on the basis of their performance in the MCA Online Entrance Test.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam MCA (WB-JECA): WB-JECA is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board and students not only from West Bengal, but also from several parts of India give this exam to get admission in the various institutes of West Bengal.
Eligibility: Students holding a Bachelors degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Graduation can apply. Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible to apply.
Important Dates(Tentative): The availability of online application form will begin in May-June 2017. The entrance exam will be held in July, 2017.
Exam Pattern: JECA is a paper-based test of 2 ½ hours and is divided into two parts- Aptitude test for 100 marks and Mathematics for 100 marks.
Selection: Selection of the candidate is based on personal interview and score of JECA.

Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (IPU CET MCA): Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is an affiliating and teaching University established by government of Delhi in 1998. IPU CET MCA is conducted for admission to MCA programs offered by the University.
Eligibility: Candidate must have minimum of 60% marks in Class X, Class XII and Graduation and a bachelor’s degree in BCA/BSc in Computer Science, B.Sc/ BA.
Important Dates (Tentative): The filling of online application will begin in February, 2017. The last date to fill the online application will be by April, 2017. The entrance exam will be conducted in May, 2017.
Exam Pattern: The entrance test is of 2 ½ hours duration and consists of objective questions from Mathematics, English Language & Comprehension, Computer Awareness, Logical and Analytical Ability.
Selection: A final merit list for counseling is prepared based on the result of the examination. Admission depends on the cutoff and the availability of seats.
