I grew up with well, lets say a more normal family than most. One parent drank, and the other was very practical. They got divorced, life didn't change all that much. Both found other spouses, and life still went on. Nothing happened in my life to learn from. To put it simple: I had no street smart.

Then I met someone. I then met their family. They have overtime changed me. Listening to their stories, makes me wish my family was like that. They fight, they make up, they joke around, and they help each other out if they can. Every family has faults of course, but their family seems so warm sometimes. Now, on the other hand, fights are worse than normal. They sometimes fight for months. The funniest thing about this is the fight is always over something stupid.

Money, lets just call this the biggest issue in life. Some family members don't have this issue, and some do. Now, lets change the subject to people. Every family has different people in it, different roles. Roles such as, the "responsible child", the "scapegoat", the "caretaker", and the "lost child." Now, I ...
... can place each of these people in a category. Some don't see it, some wish to not see it.

Everyone in life has problems. Everyone in life must deal with that. One thing I think about most is people and change. The stories I heard about, they don't happen anymore. Their family is now different, with some of the same qualities. I met one person in this family that I like of course. This person has done things to help me and things to screw me over. I still treat them the same, however they sometimes do not treat me with the same notions. I could be mean, anyone could. But is it really worth the trouble and all the bullshit?

Don't you wish people could see through your eyes? This would be the best superpower to have, I believe. Maybe it's just me, but sometimes I do not understand why people do what they do. Or say what they say. It's the same thing as, you think someone's your friend, and then they talk about you behind your back. Is this person really your friend? It is true that everyone talks about everyone. But, maybe some things are too good to be true. Friendships die, families fall apart, relationships end, and yes life goes on.

Maybe someday, you can see through my eyes. You can see that you don't always have to be right, and sometimes you are wrong. You can see that we're not perfect, and we still make stupid mistakes. You can see that saying sorry really does mean something. You can see....yes, you can see.
