Once you have saved the bookmarks, you can start tagging.
Tagging refers to giving keywords to the bookmarks you save so that others would have an idea what the bookmarked website is all about. Tagging also helps in searches, so that the bookmarks you save will be included in the search results. For example, a website about the history of your university could be tagged with the name of your university and the year it was established. Tagging doesn't follow a specific set of guidelines- which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Users have the liberty to tag bookmarks as they see fit, but sometimes these tags are confusing in character.
This method of bookmarking is easy to use and understand. It is advisable for everyone to at least try it out - give others an easier time, and you'd get that as well.
