The Lemon Law
The New Jersey lemon law ensures purchasers from auto defects. The law gives remuneration to purchasers who purchased a vehicle with deformities. The term lemon was used only for new and used cars bought and then later revealed to cause some flaws in them. Most state lemon laws give that an auto maker should either discount a consumer's cash and claim back the defective vehicle or put back the vehicle. If you suspect that you may suffer a viable new lemon vehicle, then you should get hold of an lawyer as soon as possible.
What is The Lemon Law
The lemon law is an administrative proceeding which allows a purchaser of a defective vehicle to receive a refund or new vehicle. Under the New Jersey lemon law, the purchaser must prove the following:
•The same problem has been repaired three or more times,
•The existence of the problem affects the use, value, or safety of the vehicle.
•The problem persists after the manufacturer's last chance repair.
•The problem meets the lemon law mileage criteria.
Even if these criteria are not met, the consumer may file a claim for breach of express ...
... warranty (failure to fix the car under the warranty), breach of implied warranty (vehicle is not reasonably fit), or consumer fraud, (deception in the sale).
•Listing of decisions under the New Jersey Lemon Law, New York Lemon Law, and other state laws.
•Cases involving sale of salvage vehicles, misrepresentation in car sales, finance company fraud, and other wrongdoing.
•Discussion of consumer laws that impact defective car claims such as the Truth in Lending Statute
Warranty Cases Outside The Lemon Law
The New Jersey lemon law has various requirements. However, we have successfully brought many cases for breach of warranty which did not meet the criteria of the lemon law and secured monetary compensation for the problems the consumer had experienced.
