In Mumbai, GLA 220 d 4MATIC Activity Edition will be open at Shaman Wheels which has a set up of the advanced office at Kalina with a 7,200 sq. ft. showroom and a 15,000 sq. ft. condition of-state-of-art workshop. Luxury car market pioneer Mercedes-Benz India launched the GLA 220 d 4MATIC Activity Edition, in this way presenting the 4MATIC four-wheel drivetrain in the GLA, for the first time in the Indian market.

Roland Folger, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, said: “Mercedes-Benz’s SUV portfolio witnessed a strong demand since its introduction and grew over 100% in the last couple of years. The GLA was a key addition to our SUV portfolio as it not only generated volumes for us, but also opened the SUV segment to a much younger customer base. We have sold over 3,500 units of the GLA since its market introduction and with the launch of the GLA 220 d 4MATIC Activity Edition, we expect the volumes to scale even further and add more value to the consumer. The GLA 220 d will now be available with the 4MATIC and off-road package as standard.”

The GLA 220 d 4MATIC Activity Edition accompanies a few components and visual additional items including dark decals on the door, longitudinal chrome components and 18-inch alloys.

It highlights a 2143 inline 4 engine with a yield of 125 kW and a torque of 350 Nm fit for sprinting from 0-100 in a minor 7.7 seconds. Another 8? media show with a cell phone incorporation bundle and Keyless GO Starting function is likewise on offer. Easy-pack tailgate, rain sensing wipers,and load compartment package with multiple storage facilities equipped along with a 12 V socket in the boot is a portion of the fancy odds and ends.
