Cellulite is a huge problem for so many women in society. With a large emphasis on appearance and beauty, cellulite is a common restriction from perfection. This is because of the simple fact that it is so easy to get, and so hard to get rid of. It is as a result of the above statements that we are therefore bombarded with thousands of products and services, all guaranteeing a complete cure for cellulite. Unfortunately this is not the case. In fact, most of these 'miracle cures' have no effect on cellulite.

To understand how these products are scamming consumers it is important to understand exactly what cellulite is. Put simply, cellulite is fat that protrudes the skin causing a dimpled appearance. It is extremely common in women, affecting around 90%, whereas it is extremely rare in men. This is for a number of reasons. Firstly, the network of tissue beneath the skin is structured differently depending on gender. If the outer layer of fat increases in a woman, it can push through parts of the tissue causing the dimples we call cellulite. Additionally, cellulite has been linked to hormones. This is why it most dominantly ...
... occurs in women during puberty, pregnancy and menopause.

The most simple and effective way to decrease cellulite is to reduce the amount of fat in this outer layer and to tighten the muscles and tissue in the areas with cellulite. Methods such as improving diet, as well as resistance and aerobic exercise are effective in doing this. However this takes time and effort, consequently sending people on a search for faster and easier cures. The most expensive of these is liposuction.

Although liposuction is an easy way to decrease the fat percentage in your body, it is not a cure for cellulite. Alternatively, it is suggested by many doctors that it can make it worse. Do not waste your money on this in the hope of getting rid of cellulite, because it will not work. Another common miracle cure myth is massages. They claim that their massages increase the blood circulation in the affected area, decreasing the dimpled appearance. I find it hard to believe that this is a cure considering the amount of people who spend more time and money on alternative methods that would be obsolete if massaging was successful.

The most common of the cellulite cures is the creams. This is also the most common mistake made by people searching for a quick fix. While some of these products can help, most of them have no effect. Save yourself from making the mistake, and do your research before buying one of these cellulite solutions. Find a product that has legitimate reviews, testimonials and preferably positive media attention. They do exist, and have been proven to work for some people. However many people still buy the products that have been proven to do nothing.

There are many other methods that also achieve similar outcomes. Some may provide a temporary fix, however most do not fix the problem. If you are serious about getting rid of your cellulite you must be aware that it takes time and effort. If you are not prepared to put in the work require, then accept that you have cellulite, but don't waste your time on these products that don't work. I am definitely not an expert in this topic, however I have had the sense to listen to what experts have said and take their advice.
