Amount of Protein

Last but not the least, pay attention to the total calorie count. Not all bars have the same amount of calories, and the one you pick really depends on your goals and diet. For instance, if you are mainly having bars and are on a fat-loss program, picking up a bar with 400 calories in it is probably a good bet. However, if you are going to have a 400 calorie bar and still going to have a proper lunch and dinner, it will get you nowhere with your fat loss program. In such cases, stick to bars that have substantially less number of calories.
The idea is to have a balance in your diet at the end of the day. Too much of anything and everything is bad. Check for the balance of ingredients in your protein bars at all times.
