Zee Cinemalu is a new channel being provided by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd which will be in view from 4th September but the test signal has been live since 17th August. Its main target is all telugu movie lovers of above 18 years with Vidyullekha Raman who is an Indian actress being the face of the channel. The whole reason for this audience is for the broadcaster to provide a platform for the advertisers whose target is the viewers.

The channel will be available in encrypted mode once it is done with the process of dealing with the distribution platforms. Zee Cinemalu will be availing seven premieres every week, in conjunction with world TV premiers, the transmission of key events and movie of the month. The channel will also show movies that are dubbed in other languages. Zee Cinemalu is going to complete ZEEL’s general entertainment channel for the audience of Telegu TV Channels.

DilPaiSuperhit, Zee Cinemalu’s positioning, has partnered to design the feel and look of the channel to provide a great experience for the Telugu audience with International Agencies. For the launch, the channel has also roped with five brand partners that is Fogg Deodorant, Close-up, Amazon, Fortune Sunflower Oil and Panasonic.

The unveiling of the Zee Cinemalu logo was done in a grand event by Megastar Chiranjeevi. In attendance were Rakul Preet Singh, Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun, Devi Sri Prasad, Prabhu Deva, Anasuya Bharadwaj among other prominent people in the Telugu film industry.

The business head of Zee Cinemalu and Zee Telugu, Anuradha Gudur commented about the new channel saying that they have a good library support with a mix of latest, old and new big titles. Their library contains sentiment, action, thriller, comedy and family films which provides 360 degree entertainment for all viewers. They have slotted movies on the basis of specific time bands and are doing the final touches on the grand launch.
