Women show their man they love them with warm, mushy gestures. We talk to our men, share all of our secrets with them, and give support and nurture. Women want to be romanced because that's the way we would say "I love you". We know that men are different, but we still continue to judge them rather than except their displays of affection for what they are. Once a new man captures our heart, becomes committed to us, and the new couple romance begins to fade, we begin to complain about how he doesn't measure up to our ideal romantic man.

He's calling you a special name using his words. People see that the recognition he's giving you is different, it means you're special and it shows he loves you. His claim on you is obvious.

Once he's ready to take the relationship to the next level, he may not want to stay on the phone with you all night. This means he no longer wants to feel like your best friend. The profession he makes about you is a big step for him, and if you know what it means it can be significant for you too, it can even be a turn on.

The second way a man will show love for his women is by providing for her. Of course not every man has the means to buy her everything she wants, bu that doesn't mean he can't provide for her. To any degree he is able, he will provide for you. This may mean he will fix your car for you when it breaks down, whether he is able to fix it himself or will find someone who can. Either way he is showing you he loves you and can provide for you. You may not get a romantic outing every weekend, but in any way he can, he will provide for you.

The third way a man shows love to the women he is head over heels in love with is by protecting her. No one is allowed to hurt, disrespect, or insult his woman. There is no way he can handle her life or feelings being in danger.

Men can protect their women in a few different ways, and the first way is protecting her from herself. This is why men can get so angered with some of the choices his woman makes, because as a logical man he could have told her that choice would be a mistake. He doesn't understand why the woman he loves so much would put herself in harms way.

The other way a man protects his woman when he is truly in love with her is protecting her from himself by sacrificing himself, if needed. If you can't let him be who he is when expressing himself as a man, he'll shrink inside, becoming a lesser lover and partner as he attempts to protect you from him. This pressure to express himself in a manly way will rupture and you may loose him. If you find you aren't interested in exploring the mystery he is, you may want to consider whether you really love him. Asking him to hide his masculinity is the beginning of the end.
