- Maintain a correct time-table for your dog: Your dog needs food to grow, but don't just feed it anytime of the day. Make a correct schedule, for example, a light breakfast in the morning with a glass of milk, healthy food for afternoon, evening snacks with milk and a light dinner with milk at night. Different dog breeds eat different amount of food. Similarly, your dog needs to pass out his unwanted food. If you take your dog for a walk regularly, it will help your dog to understand that it has to empty its stomach. Moreover, a correct timetable will assist you and your pet to set up accordingly. - Regular exercise is a must: Just like you require some exercise to be fit, your dog also requires little exercise to be active. Now don't expect your dog to follow a workout session. Just little enjoyment, jumps, stretches and a daily walk is adequate for your pet to stay active and healthy.
