Selecting a banner for your business or event can sound like a simple concept, until you realise how many different types there are out there. With the variety of styles available including teardrop banners, feather banners, feather flags, bowhead banners, beach banners and many more, it can all get very confusing. The “Lots of Wind” option.
Beach banners use the same hardware as the two banner types above. For much more than the beach, they are an ideal choice in any situation with a lot of wind, where they will flap in a great eye catching manner. With this banner style the pole sticks almost straight up, and the banner starts to look a little like a lifeless flag when there is no wind †the trade off for having such an eye catching item in windy conditions. Unlike the above styles there is no double sided option as the banner is made from one piece of fabric.

Selecting a the right style of banner for your situation is the first step. From there you will need to consider the type of hardware you need (a pole for soft ground, feet for hard ground), as well as the size you require, which your banner supplier can assist with. Remember also when selecting a supplier that some products will be manufactured to a higher standard than others, so ensure your supplier’s product is of the quality you require.
