How to Treat a Heart Attack

A heart failure happens once muscular muscle is deprived of oxygen, other part or fully, because of clogged coronary arteries (via atherosclerosis). Without enough gas and nutrients, the center muscle begins to die and becomes dysfunctional, that results in a heart failure (myocardial infarction) and potential a systole and ultimate death. Concerning each thirty four seconds, somebody within the U.S. Encompasses a heart failure. The physical damage due to attack may be reduced by early intervention, thus prompt recognition of the signs of a heart attack and immediate transport to a hospital is crucial and greatly will increase the possibility of survival.
Recognizing the Symptoms and Calling for Help
When any heart attack occurs, you need to recognize the symptoms. But sometime it there are very subtle or no warning signs. Some attacks are sudden and they are not giving you any symptoms or warning sign. However, in most cases, there are at least subtle clues that usually get rationalized or marginalized.
These all symptom may start sometime before the heart muscles get damaged ...
... enough to become dysfunctional
Not all people who experience heart attacks have the same symptoms or the same severity of symptoms — there's lots of variability.
Some people also report feeling a sense of "doom" or "impending death" that is unique to the heart attack experience.
Most people experiencing a heart attack (even a mild one) will collapse to the ground, or at least fall against something for support. Other common causes of chest pain don't typically lead to sudden collapse.

Reason behind the heart attack

• Major risk factors for heart disease, heart attack and stroke include: high blood cholesterol levels, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cigarette smoking and advancing age (65 years and older).
• A heart attack doesn't always lead to cardiac arrest (complete heart stoppage), but cardiac arrest is always indicative of heart attack.
What to Do?
Call emergency services immediately.

This is an emergency case and you need to be active. The first thing you need to call your local area emergency services. Even if they don't display all or even the majority of the signs and symptoms, calling for medical help is the most important action you can take for someone in severe distress
Put the person in a seated position, with knees raised.
Most medical authorities recommend sitting a suspected heart attack sufferer down in the "W position" — semi-recumbent (sitting up at about 75 degrees to the ground) with knees bent. The person's back should be supported, perhaps with some pillows if at home or against a tree if outside. Once the person is in the W position, then loosen any loose clothing around their neck and chest (such as their necktie, scarf or top buttons of their shirt) and try to keep them still and calm. You may not know what's causing their discomfort, but you can reassure them that medical help is on its way and that you'll stay with them at least until that point.

• Keep the patient cool and calm.
• Don’t let me feel nervous.
• Get the patient out of stress.
Ask the person if they carry Nitroglycerine
Mostly the people who are suffering from heart diseases carry Nitroglycerine with them. Even doctor also recommend them. So when you face with a heart attack affected person, ask him if he carry Nitroglycerine.

Initiate CPR, if the person stops breathing.

CPR is the most and useful trick to help a person who is affected with heart attack. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) involves chest compressions in order to help push some blood through the arteries (especially to the brain) combined with rescue breathing (mouth to mouth), which provides some oxygen to the lungs. Keep in mind that CPR has its limitations and doesn't usually trigger a heart to start beating again, but it can provide some precious oxygen to the brain and buy some time before emergency services arrive with their electrical defibrillators.
