Write for your audience. The first phase of SEO writing is writing for a specific niche. SEO articles are always targeted for an audience that has the highest possibility of using the service you're writing about or buying the product that you're promoting. Make your article sound more personal, as if a friend is talking to a reader. This is not the time to think of keyword phrase or other writing technique. Your article should tell the readers what they can get from the product or the service that you're offering. Limit writing cold, hard facts as your article would sound impersonal. Of course, it's important to write facts, but do this in a way that your readers won't feel like they're reading a product's brochure or a company profile.
Once you've finished writing, read your work out loud and listen to how the article sounds. This is the time to make changes in the tone of the article and correct writing mistakes such as wrong grammar and spelling.

Have only one keyword phrase per article. This way, you won't lose focus on the main topic.
Use a number of synonyms in place of your chosen keywords so you don't repeat the same words all the time. Doing this will prevent you from sounding unnatural in your article. Insert these words in specific areas of the article. Rephrasing sentences would help you integrate keywords to your articles easily.
SEO writing is not hard to do. With a little practice, you'd be able to write good SEO articles without worrying about ending up with spamy write-ups.
