Start Your Twitter Marketing
Twitter - one of the most popular if not the most popular social-marketing site available today and it is still growing in popularity at an alarming rate.
Some people are still learning about Twitter and still trying to get their heads around the term Micro-blogging, while others not only have cotton on to the whole concept but have taken Twitter to the next level.
At this level, they are using Twittter as their free Marketing Tool to help their business in popularity and to grow.
Most people think Social Networks are personal site, only talking about personal activities rather than using this opportunity to talk about their business, if they have one.
Trying to gain exposure for your business or for any business in the Traditional Marketing way can be very costly. However, Twitter being a Free site, using Twitter for your free network is a real blessing and can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in marketing.
But remember you have to walk before you can run and the same applies when using Twitter to grow your popularity and your business. You have to start off taking it slow.

... quick review on how Twitter works. Set up your Twitter account, either using your name or using your business name. Once this is set up you can start following others in your area of interest. Then you send them a message known as a Tweet to which they should reply or Tweet back. And so the following begins using Tweets.
Theoretically, not only should they then start to follow you, their followers will start to follow you and you start following them and so on. It is a perfect way to find out a little more about your follower and what their interests are and a great way for you to get out to your followers your interest and ideas. Build up a rapport and trust.
Now here is a mistake that many people who are just starting out in Twitter make and you must be careful not to follow. They just start sending out random Tweets that have no real value or interest as they just want followers. But in order to keep followers, you have to give them interesting Tweets about what you are doing or what your business is doing and so on.
You also have to post updates daily if not more often through the day, to keep your followers interest, but remember to give them something of value.
Be careful about only giving them leads or links to your affiliates or offers on your site, as they will become suspicious of your motives. They will consider you to be a spammer or wanting to abuse Twitter for your own personal gain.
This does not mean if you are wanting to build your list for business or increase traffic to your website, that you can not do so with Twitter, it just means, before you start selling you have to let your followers know who you are. Give them interesting information give them some free reports or articles to let them feel they are getting something of value from you without it costing them anything.
Once you have this established then, when you suggest they check out a certain link or your site, they will be a lot more comfortable and willing to check it out and even buy from you as they already know what you have is of value.
So set up your Twitter account, start following a group, then get them following you and slowly gain their trust then you can start to grow your list for business. Just remember it has to take a little time but it can be done successfully just go slowly at first.
