While the rainy season is not generally considered to the best time to travel, in India the monsoons are actually quite mesmerising. There are a number of places in the country that truly come to life during the monsoons. Visitors can enjoy refreshingly lush greenery and the romantic atmosphere that the rains bring with them. From the north to the south and the east to the west, there are some amazing destinations around the country that you can visit during the wet season. North:
