Serious lottery players, Stock Market traders, Insurance actuaries and Meteorologists are a lot alike. Businessess, industries and scientists around the world do this twenty four seven. It's called Forecasting. The world would grind to a halt overnight without Forecasting. So, using Forecasting to play the lottery makes good sense.

Stock market investing firms around the world have spent billions of dollars on software to analyze stock prices. Professional traders use that software to analyze every bit of data in order to make good buy-sell decisions every day. Protecting that software investment is a paramount security concern for these companies. Why? If everyone had access to their software, they would lose their advantage.

So, what is so special about this software? It forecasts the future by analyzing the past. The best lottery software evaluates the past winning numbers to help the player improve his chances of winning the lottery jackpot in the next drawing. The data sets are different but the approach is the same. Since Wall Street uses forecasting software to make stock price predictions then, ...
... serious lottery players should use lottery software to make their lottery predictions. Bottom line; what's good enough for Wall Street is good enough for Main Street?

Other professions do the same thing. The Insurance industry is a good example. So, what do Insurance companies have to do with playing the lottery? Well, nothing directly. But, the methods used to determine insurance rates are very similar to how serious lottery players prepare for the next drawing.

Actuaries calculate the insurance rates. They mathematically analyze the historical frequency of certain events for different areas of the country. Take a 42 year old married man with two boys, living in Houston, who drives less than 150 miles per week and has a clean driving record. To detemine the rate, the insurance company will analyze the historical record to determine what the frequency of accidents are for this demographic.

Serious lottery players do the same thing. By analyzing the past winning numbers, lottery players can find frequencies that show statistical promise for the next drawing. Be it the lottery or insurance, the task is arduous and requires the use of sophisticated computer software. Such software must, not only be up to the task but, produce the kind of analysis and breakdown that is useful in making a decision. This reasoned business approach can easily be applied to the lottery. In fact, serious lottery players from North to South and from coast to coast are using lottery software to make professional lottery predictions.

Here is a final example; Meteorology. That's right. Watching the weather is our number one passtime. Meteorologists study the changes in temperature, air pressure, moisture, and wind direction. Using this knowledge, they are able to predict or forecast tomorrow's weather. Meteorologists study the historical data and, from that, predict what they believe will happen in the future. Of course, this is exactly what serious lottery players do before every drawing. The software you choose must be up to the task. Whether it's raining on the plain in Spain or 'Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head', serious lottery players also need software to make their lottery forecasts.

At one point, it was believed that forecasting accuracy was directly related to the experience and training of the forecaster. To everyone's surprise, research indicates that anyone with average intelligence could become a good forecaster and the learning curve is very sharp. In other words, it doesn't take long for a novice forecaster to find his wings.

Coming up to speed is a problem if you're riding a tricycle. Any successful forecaster must have some good tools to work with; a computer and some good software. The days of analyzing lottery numbers by using manually generated graphs and charts have past. Not only can a computer do all this faster without errors, it can do the job more thoroughly. Today, lottery predictions and forecasts have come of age. Increasing your chances of winning the lottery is just a forecast away.
