India is a nation of large population that have faced the issues related to alarming unemployment situation in the country. As a consequence of increase unemployment rate in rural areas there has been consistent progress of rural unemployed population to urban regions. The urban unemployed population include educated youth and workers of industries. Recently, consistent increase in the number of unemployed people in urban areas because of large scale transfer of workers from rural region to urban regions. The increasing industries and factories are not able to create employment opportunities because they have focused on consumption of full capacity of labour rather than creating new job opportunities for youth.
To convene the problem of consistent increase in rate of unemployment in rural areas is required to provide productive operation of agricultural dependent population during seasonal inactivity. The problem of seasonal unemployment is deal by incorporation of public works. The government has introduced drainage and irrigation projects need local materials and labour should be profitably utilized in seasonal idleness of agricultural dependent population. Additionally, roads construction for village, school buildings and hospitals should result in increment in the wealth of nation. The permanent unemployment issue is more difficult that can be easily solved by carrying several lands under their cultivation and follow a dynamic policy of frequent industrialisation. While considering the issues of urban unemployment it has to be recommended that several lands is fetched under cultivation, the emigrant from rural region to urban region is bound to be detained. There should some significant techniques and schemes are essential to treat the growing urban population. Several have been motivated to introduce and begin their independent business. The loans, machines and techniques should be ordered for them on the concessional rates. Additionally an extensive program related to measures of public health should offers jobs to a large number of populations. These recommended measures should decrease the rate of unemployment in rural and urban regions of country on the short term basis whereas a creative and bold plan should be incorporated to meet the issues on permanent basis.
