While I know that I am a little late to the game, I have started Bitcoin mining. Now, I don’t have some extravagant mining rig or anything like that, just simple computer with ten USB Avalon Nano Bitcoin miners. I have everything hooked up in my dorm room, and the mining rig will be making me money 24 hours per day, seven days per week.

I decided to go with USB miners as they wouldn’t use as much electricity. Last term, there was a big crack down on one group of students here in the dorm that had three huge bitcoin rigs that were sucking too much power and someone noticed. These little miners should keep me under the radar, and are easy to hide if someone does an inspection.

I just signed up for a Coin Web wallet to store my currency in. I don’t have anything in my wallet yet, but I know that it shouldn’t take too long before the bitcoins come rolling in.

Now, all I will have to do is figure out a way to turn this digital currency into real-life cash. Once I have that figured out, I think I will have it made.
