You will not be dismayed by space constraint any more and don't have to leave behind any of your favourite stuff. Roll all of your clothes into a cylinder shape and avoid folding them in order to reduce your clothes from creasing. Such rolling of clothes will help you even when you have a small baggage to take. Do not forget to carry dark clothing as your stains will not be prominently seen, it is a good tip while traveling. If you spill coffee or tea by mistake it will not be seen.
Pack all the necessary items first and any toiletries and other document which is less important will go ...
... in the end. This helps you to avoid those lesser important ones if you run out of space. You don't have to remove all that you have packed just to force in an important one in that space. Remember to carry one formal shoe if you are wearing a casual one while traveling, you may need them if you are on a business trip.
Pay through your credit card, it reduces the hassle of carrying cash and is also safer. If you take cash, every day you just take out enough for each day to pay your necessary items. So that even if you lose your wallet, you still have some cash left behind in your hidden wallet or travel pouch. Do not have your credit card and cash for emergency in the same pouch. Emergency cash should always be handy, you can keep your credit cards safely in another place, so that if you lose your wallet with petty cash you will still have your credit card safe!
Keep handy all the essential numbers with you. Leave one copy of it at home so that in case you lose it you can always call back home and ask.
