Change Gmail Password: Why Should You Do This Often?
In today’s world, one of the most important issues is privacy over the internet. Nowadays, everything takes place over the internet and especially over email. So anyone who uses Google’s email facility should know how to keep their inbox safe. Hacking, phishing or identity theft is a very disturbing problem that most netizens face during some part of their digital lives. Hence, care should be taken to keep the password of your email very safe and resort to safety measures to ensure that hackers don’t get access into your account.
Though Google has used every method to ensure that hackers can’t use your email id illegally, sometimes there are loopholes which will help them gain illegal entry. In this case, you will need to Change Gmail Password. Here are the steps to do so:
Login to your account
On the right hand side, you can see a gear. It also looks like a cog. So click on it and select ‘Settings’
On the ‘Settings’ menu, click on the fourth item from the left of the top of the tool bar
The first topic here is the ‘Change Gmail Password’ option. Click on that and you will ...
... be directed to a new window.
This is the ‘My Accounts’ section. Here you can make whatever changes you want in your password.
Take care and ensure that you do not have the same password as before. Make your password a little complicated so that hackers cannot break it again.

Here, you can also select the ‘I don’t know my password’ option to get a link to your alternate email ID on how to change the password.
2. Filling up Password Recover Form
This is another method on how to recover your account in the case you have forgotten the password. Here you have to fill up a questionnaire which will help you to recover your password. The recovery from method, however, takes time because the questionnaire has to be reviewed by a Google employee and once this is done, only then the password would be reset and ready to be used by the user.
3. Using a Password Recovery Third Party Program
This is the final straw. In the case you are not able to retrieve the password using any of Google’s methods; you can use a third party program to Gmail password recovery.
