Hosting is a service that is provided by different companies to clients offering physical location for storage of web pages and files. The server allows the web page files to be viewed on the web. Hosting control panel is a web based interface provided by different companies offering hosting services that allow for customers to manage their various hosted services in a single place. This provides convenience to this customer since management will have been boasted. Most common modules in a majority of control panels include:

1. Access to server logs. Server logs are files created and maintained by servers. They consist a list of activities it performed. An example is web server log. This maintains a history of page request. The format of server logs will differ. These include the common log format for the web server among other. Recent entries have contained information about the request; this is inclusion of address, date/time, page requested, bytes served, and http code. 5. Managing database. Data base is an organized collection of different types of data. Data is usually organized to model aspect of reality in a manner that will support processing of the required information .DBMS are computing softwares that interacts with the user, other applications and the database it's self. This aids in capturing and analyzing of data.

6. Visitors statistics and using web log analysis software. These are software that parses a server log file from a wed server. It is usually based on values contained in the log file, derives indicators about when, how and by whom a web server is visited.

7. Web based file manager. File manager can also be referred as a file browser. This is a computer program that provides a user interface to manage files and folders.

1. CPanel.this is a UNIX based hosting control panel. The graphical interface it uses help in quick and easy website and webhosting

2. Plesk.this panel allows you to manage your hosting accounts through a web based interface. It is similar with cPanel

3. ISPconfig.this is an open source multilingual control panel. It helps in management of multiple servers' less than one control panel

4. Ajenti .this features rich, powerful and lightweight control panel, providing responsive web interface that will manage small server set-ups and very suitable for dedicated and vps hosting

5. Kloxo.it is an advanced and free web control for REDHAT and CENT OS distributors. It has leading controls like FTP, spam filter, PHP, PERL, CGI among many more

6. Openpanel.this is an open source web based control panel that has been licensed under GNU General public. It has an attractive and easy to use interface

7. Zpanel.this is a free to download webhosting control panel. It is used for Linux, UNIX, macOS and Windows. It is very easy to use.

8. IspCP.This is a free source project built a multi server control and admin panel without any limitations. It is used by Linux/Unix.

9. VHCS.this is also a free web base interface control panel. It is designed for Linux. It is especially for it professionals and hosting services.

10. Ravencore.this is a simple hosting panel for Linux. It aims at getting rid of expensive software’s like panel and pesky .it is coded in PHP.
