f you're concerned about your budget when travelling to London, don't stress yourself out. There are so many free things to do in London. You'll be amazed at how much money you can save and how much you can enjoy yourself. You may even find a new hobby or two, or rekindle an old interest.
Music
London has a lot of free concerts and music gigs. One of the biggest attractions is the Southbank Centre. It hosts hundreds of free music events every year. It is open 365 days a week.
Southbank Centre is handicap accessible. There are places set aside for people in wheelchairs and those who need guide dogs. There are also plenty of places to eat, drink and shop.
Southbank Centre is a short traveling distance away from Waterloo. If you're staying in any of the hotels near Waterloo, you can take underground or mainline trains to get there.

Street markets are an amazing place to find food and fashion inspired by all walks of life. These markets have something for everyone. In fact, many fashion designers browse these street markets to get inspired for clothing lines.

London is very child-friendly. There are plenty of attractions for children. Take them to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. It happens every day in the summer at 11:30am. In the winter the guards change every other day.
Let your children sample London's versatile culture by taking them to see any number of street performers. You can find them in public places, entertaining the crowds and bringing a smile to everyone's faces. You can find them at the Covent Garden Market, the National Theatre, or South Bank.
The Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens has regular events for families. The events depend on the season. In December you can enjoy Christmas events and ice skating. During the warmer months you can enjoy other events. There is a Fire Festival in October, and free film screenings in the summer.
