Tina Turbin visited many New England bookstores where the "local theme" in books is truly alive and well. These unique stores promote local authors and local ideas through the books on their shelves, yet they all welcomed Tina eagerly for her speaking engagements as well as her charming book, Danny the Dragon (http://DannyTheDragon.com).

Most of the stores Tina (http://TinaTurbin.com) spoke at had more than one cozy chair or coach available to sit and sip a beverage and peruse a book or magazine. In the winter's cold months these stores become a gathering place and even a refuge from the cold. A book and a hot drink can be a welcome second heaven in the cold months to come. ... small independent bookstore owners as Tina's tour was off the interstates and it brought her directly into a multitude of small New England towns that are on the back roads of New England and surrounding states, well off the beaten path but well visited due to their unique location and attractive surroundings, all four seasons.

As always, Tina continues to be available to speak to book store owners, public libraries, hospitals and schools. She continues to be asked many questions about all phases of her authoring experiences. It's amazing that she can finish any speaking engagement in the allotted time, the questions just keep coming. Kids love her book, love to listen to her and they really come up with such intelligent questions.
