Teeth whitening in the UK has become extremely popular but does it really work?

Teeth whitening has been around for a very long time in the UK. Recently however, it has become far more popular as the amount of people that are striving for perfection has grown. Everyone wants to look good as much of the time as possible and have different options available to them to go about it. Getting your teeth whitened is one option and has recently become extremely popular.

There are two main kinds of teeth whitening products; surface whiteners and bleaches. Surface whiteners use abrasives to remove stains and are sold in either toothpaste form or chewing gum. The effectiveness of these products is limited to removing surface stains only and is not the same as having your teeth cleaned by the dentist. There is a risk included with products that have use abrasives and chemicals and the enamel of your teeth may be damaged.

Laser tooth whitening is superior to all the procedures because lazer whitening contains the highest levels of peroxide, the highest intensity of lazer light and can be done in a dentists office ...
... where they can whiten the most discoloured teeth.

The Tooth whitening fairy does exist and with a flexible and proven teeth whitening treatments available in the UK it is no wonder consumers want the best of both worlds and having white teeth but also without giving up the things they love to eat and drink and this has to be good news for smokers as well.

The process to bleach teeth uses oxidizing agents such as hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide to lighten the shade of the tooth. The oxidizing agent penetrates deep in the rod-like crystal structure of enamel and oxidizes the deep stain deposits over a period of time, the dentin layer, lying underneath the enamel, is also bleached. The special effects of bleaching can last for several months, but may be brief by cigarette smoking, and tea and coffee consumption.
