Created by Shaun T and designed by a company known as Beach Body, the main aim of the Insanity Workout is to ensure that you are fit and in the best shape, the program assures that by the end of the workout, your overall fitness will be amazing and you will have the looks you always wanted.

How It Works
This is perhaps the most difficult cardiovascular-based DVD in the market mainly because of strenuous pace of every workout. The Insanity schedule involves 6 days exercise per week with each workout taking approximately 30-60 minutes. The Shaun T Insanity workout is based on the concept of “Max Interval Training” which requires you to exercise at an intense pace for a short period while taking longer periods of rest in between. While at the intense interval, you are required to move from one exercise to another with the least no rest between.

The Insanity Program
The Insanity Calendar involves a 60-day workout program; the workout schedule is changed on a weekly basis.
Most of the workouts start with a warm-up. The warm- up involves a few interval of jumping stacks, kick moves back- to- back ...
... then stretching. It is the number of repetition and movement that makes every workout intense.

The first month of the workout involves alternating five intense exercises: Plyometric cardio circuit, Cardio Power and Resistance, The Fit Test, Pure Cardio and Cardio Recovery. Before commencing, the second month workout there is a recovery week, which involves daily core cardio and balance, which is not as intense as the workout. The main aim of the recovery week is to enable to recover and to prepare for the second month.

The second month further increases the intensity of the workout by introducing four new workouts: Max Interval Plyo, Max Recovery, Max Interval Circuit and Max Recovery. Each of the workout is longer and more intense than the workout of the previous month.
