Admissions Open For Sitm

The Symbiosis Institute of Telecom Management is a premier destination for anyone wanting to pursue post graduate programs in the domain telecom. Thanks to its popularity, every year thousands of students aspire to enter India’s premier telecom management program. However, there are several dilemmas surrounding the admission process at SITM. Start by registering for SNAP test!
SNAP ...
... or the Symbiosis national aptitude test is a multiple choice questions based examination that focuses on analysing the creative ability to comprehend things as well as logic of every applicant. This year the SNAP test is scheduled to happen on 21st December 2014. If you are aspiring to apply for SITM, start by registering for SNAP. The registrations are open till 26th November 2014. For a detailed understanding of the eligibility criteria of the SNAP test as well as SITM College, you can refer to www.snaptest.org and www.sitm.ac.in
Apply to SITM separately
Even after you have registered for SNAP, ensure that you apply to SITM individually as well else your score will not be considered. Also, prior to applying, ensure that you are eligible and only then submit your application. You can fill the form to apply to SITM while filling up your SNAP registration details itself.
What next?
Now that you have submitted the application, invest the time and effort to prepare for your SNAP test because this is the most important part of the entire procedure. After all, the higher your SNAP score, the more preference you are likely to get from the prospective colleges including SITM.
After the result!
As soon as the results are announced, every college that you have applied to is made aware of your SNAP score. Basis the details, students found eligible are invited to the SITM campus for further processes.
Group discussion!
The students are divided into groups and asked to debate on interesting topics. Their ability to discuss and put forth a point amidst the chaos is what helps the experts at SITM to identify their talent and accordingly examine them further.
Personal interview: This is the one to one round where the SITM experts analyse the student’s capability, understanding as well as knowledge through a detailed personal interview. Once done, the score of students in each category is calculated and accordingly the institute declares the final list of admitted students.
For those of you planning to appear for SITM through SNAP, here are a few important details that you must bear in mind:
The SITM registrations will be open from 3rd September 2014 to 9th
January 2015.
First shortlist is expected to be released on 20th January 2015 followed by interviews scheduled in the second week of February next year. Remember to submit your application within the deadline to avoid any disappointments later.
