A neck of a women or a finger of a man is the best place to find a Ruby and Sapphire. They depict the economic class and always be a part of status to the most of the world. But there is other part of the world that sees the real use of these precious things available on the earth. Ruby can be used in manufacturing the balls that are used in several applications in daily life. Such balls manufactured out of Ruby can be termed as Ruby Balls. Not every one of us are aware of the fact that these ruby balls play their part in the fastest means of communication done through optical fibers. Optical fiber is one of the latest advancements of technology in communications that can transport the message over very long distances without any losses in a very little time. We find the ruby ball playing its part in these optical fibers.

But still we have to couple more number of optical fibers to make it a long distance communication and this may result in coupling losses. The balls that ...

These balls are found in use when there are high power requirements and usually at a place where we have rim less mountings. The main purpose for using the Ruby ball in an optical fiber is, they can withstand the high power. Along with optical fibers these balls are found useful in bar code scanners, Ball check valves etc. Ruby ball and sapphire ball are used for this purpose. Low TG ball lens is the one that is manufactured and used in precision molding. To manufacture the high precision optical components one has to adapt processes like crushing and grinding which involves lot of labor and hard work. Precision molding helps in eliminating all such process and makes our work easier.

To make the coupling in a more effective manner and to minimize the losses in it making the communication done through optical fibers we make use of the High index glass balls.
