Norway-based mining hardware manufacturer Turing Stations has announced it has finally started shipping its highly anticipated Rail & Razor professional rigs. The Turing Razor Miner is the first professional miner to break the seven terahash per second barrier in a single bundle, and with its $5.899 price point it also delivers a 0.8 dollar per gigahash proposition unmatched in the marketplace today. It is based on TuringStations’s new Spectrum processor, which the company describes as the most powerful SHA256 ASIC ever released in the world. Its peak performance stands at over 500 gigahashes per second on a 28nm chip.

The chips run at 0.45 W/GHs and, since it uses the latest Spectrum 28nm high performance plus node, the unit should be rather efficient as well. It comes with three 1200 Watt power supplies for no extra charge.
