A Jeep Jamboree is for anyone passionate about his or her jeep and the people he or she is passionate about. All of this being said, the most important announcement is that the 2014 Jeep Jamboree schedule has been announced.


Believe it or not, Jeep Jamborees have an incredibly rich history. The tradition began in the 50s and has been going strong ever since. It all began in '53 when Mark A. Smith got a group of enthusiasts together to ride the Rubicon Trail. It was this maiden voyage that began the tradition of Jeep Jamboree USA and the traditional has remained strong ever since. Though more and more people and companies have gotten involved in the initiative, Mark A. Smith remains an important player in Jeep Jamboree USA and carries the title or original founder. Though he doesn't participate quite so much today in his old age, his daughter, Jill Smith, carries the title of President and CEO of the company. Jill is joined by her team of other jeep enthusiasts who ensure that each jamboree runs smoothly ...
... and pay careful attention to each customer and concern. The team focuses not only the general organizing of jamboree events but also seeks to ensure the safety of each participant and create conditions that garner the joy and friendship that make a jamboree truly memorable.


Overall, the team facilitates dozens of trips each year in locations that span across the entirety of the continental United States.


This year's schedule includes some new locations to try out as well as plenty of old standbys to ensure each group has a great time at each unique location.


This November, Jeep Jamboree USA will open two brand new jamboree locations. In White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, the Greenbrier Valley Jamboree will set off on its principal journey. Giving riders excellent views of the Allegheny Mountains, Greenbrier is committed to family fun. Not only can groups see the gorgeous mountain ranges on a variety of different trails offered for those of differing skill levels, but this jamboree mixes in American history and heritage with their inclusion of a tour of an important war site.


The second new voyage, the Ozark Adventure, will take place in the Ozark Mountains of Ozark, Nebraska. Centered in the Ozark Park, participants will have the opportunity to see incredible views and travel through lush and unique pathways. This trail is on the difficult side and those interesting in participating are encouraged to sign up only if they feel they possess adequate skills to handle the sometimes rough terrain. Because of difficult conditions, each jeep is required to come equipped with tow hooks.


Although jamborees do take place in locations spread throughout the country, some of the favorites occur in the following states: California, Utah, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, and Texas.


Any group with a jeep that sports a 4-LO transfer case is welcome to join the Jeep Jamboree USA adventures and participate in one of the weekend jamborees. All participants should note that each jamboree is geared toward family groups. Each jamboree is led by guides that know that terrain well and can help less experienced drivers navigate their way through the courses and trails.


The price of each two day event includes meals and the cover fee includes all park and usage fees that each individual and/or group is responsible for.
