Dropbox Cloud Storage Is Changing Its Android Game
Change has always become necessary, especially in the world where technology change is the only thing that is constant. Even parts change overtime, and sometimes they are replaced.
Changes in the world of electronics are not limited only to components and other things which are directly related to the devices that technology made. Sometimes, it can also be those which are indirectly related to technology, but still somewhat connected. One of the examples of these is the design that cloud storage systems use.
Yes, it may not be directly related to the world of electronics, but, it can be linked to aesthetics and convenience that draws people towards a particular service which basically is what technology is all about – making things look better while making it more convenient for use.
In this aspect, the cloud storage system has made strides in the design department coming from Dropbox. First, they made the changes in their Android devices not only to make things more appealing for users, but also more convenient. They are hitting two birds with one stone with the changes in its look ...
... with Android devices.
What prompted Dropbox to change its look is its update regarding with their iOS device look, which Android devices may have forced them to change for some reason. Obviously, the changes made were to attract more users into buying their devices. The changes made by DropBox for iOS users made it possible for them to manage all their files better and the experience more worth it. In addition, it allows them to synchronize all the devices across the World Wide Web and the desktop.
The first design changes that Dropbox made for Android devices is the very fact that it just looks new. How it looks like and how certain operations are being arranged has become different from its previous versions. So, if you have an Android device with you right now, just expect the look of Dropbox to be different and possibly even better.
In addition, DropBox has also made sure that Android users get an all new image gallery where they can easily swipe through the images that they have stored in their cloud storage. This saves you a lot of time of having to close and click. At least this makes a whole lot sense. This way, more see it become better.
Then, there is also an added feature where anyone who uses DropBox through an Android device does not have to wait for the full resolution of one image before he or she can go to the next picture.
The new DropBox has also made it possible for anyone to view document files faster compared to before. No comparisons can be made between operating systems, but when compared to the previous version of the DropBox in Adroid, it is definitely a notch higher.
Moreover now, it is capable of supporting over a hundred file types making it possible for presentations to be saved in case you have a presentation that requires the help of Powerpoint.
The new DropBox for Android has been made better, faster, and more convenient. How you perceive the reason for the change, competition or not, ultimately, it still benefits your goals of using the service.
