The new 2015 Hyundai Sonata features many of the familiar Sonata design seen in these US-built vehicles. The model is available in SE, Sport, Limited and Sport 2.0 with a variety of upgrades and options depending upon needs and desires.

Advanced Engine Technology

According to Hyundai the advanced technology used in the available engine uses twin-scroll turbocharging and GDI, Gasoline Direct Injection, for quick acceleration. The Sport 2.0 edition will feature a 2.0L engine with 245 horsepower.


The 2015 Hyundai Sonata will have better acceleration thanks to the suspension upgrades. With the new front and rear suspension designs as well as the dual lower arm rear suspension the Sonata will feature netter handling capability and overall stability during high speed travels and braking.

There is Smart Cruise Control included which can detect a vehicle in front of the car. This automatically triggers a response that slows the Sonata down in order to properly maintain a safe distance. When necessary, this feature will allow the car to come to a complete stop and start again without the driver having to manually perform this task. Potential collisions can also be averted with the forward-sensing camera which senses the vehicles in front of the car and warns the driver.


Another safety feature included in the 2015 Hyundai Sonata is the radar-based system that eliminates blind spots through audible and visual alerts. This feature allows the driver to be warned of potential hazards while switching lanes, or accidentally drifting outside the present lane. When the car is in reverse, there is a rear cross-traffic alert that identifies the driver of vehicles oncoming vehicles. Distance sensors are the key to safe parking. A warning sounds if the vehicle gets too close to any object while reversing. This keeps the vehicle safe from bumps and scraps.


Premium Technology

The Sonata's standard Bluetooth technology includes phone book transfer to allow hands-free access to your phone. The new Hyundai Sonata will have Apple CarPlay that will allow IPhone integration to be better than ever. Two other useful piece of advanced technology includes the Google's powerful destination search and additional multimedia capabilities including both Soundhound and Pandora.


Smart Features

The Hyundai Sonata also has technology that makes life more convenient. The hands-free smart trunk automatically opens making loading and unloading a simpler process. This smart car is able to sense the Proximity Key and opens on its own.
