Tip No. 1. Choose a subject that interests you or that is closest to your heart.

It is always easier to do things that you love to do, say for example, fishing, where you would not mind being exposed under the sun while you wait for a fish to take your bait. It is the same thing when you write about something that you love. Your passion about your subject matter builds your excitement to know more about it by reading materials or interviewing experts, helps you persevere in the task of writing, and gives you the sense of fulfillment of having completed something that you labored with gusto.

Tip No. 2. Do some reading about your topic.

A little research about your subject will greatly help in accomplishing your write up. What information you gathered will somehow affirm your ideas and will give you valuable insights or information from experts that you would want to share to your readers. You may also stumble on comments about your topic that you would not agree with and therefore you would want to negate or correct. In this case, your work now becomes ...
... a venue to give the right information or give justice to what others say about your topic.

In cases where you have no opportunity to read about the subject that you want to write about, for example, an impromptu ESSAY WRITING seatwork in school, the option is to pick a topic that you are familiar with like a personal experience that has impacted your life or one that is popularly known.

Tip No. 3 – Make an Outline

An outline serves as the building plan in constructing the theme of your write-up. It is not an elaborate discussion of ideas, but simply jotting down of the items that you would want to present to your readers and how you would want the journey to every part from start to finish through your writing. It will help a writer organize his or her thoughts and identify what idea to discuss in each paragraph.

When your readers will read your work, will they smoothly journey with you in your essay from the introduction to the conclusion? Will they end up confuse because they read your concluding arguments in the middle of your work? The process of making an outline may take time but once it is settled, it will save you a lot of time in the actual writing. Most importantly, a polished outline will most likely guarantee that you will not stop in the middle of your writing and change your subject.

Tip No. 4 – Beef up

A good ESSAY is one that is well-written and well-researched. It conveys all of the writer’s reasons and arguments behind the ideas he or she presented and more importantly, when these are backed by research or professional opinion of experts. While the personal opinion of the writer matters, it is also important to include what experts have to say about the subject. What they have to say will strengthen the arguments of the writer and will add weight to the entire work. Other points of discussion that can be included in the entire work are the writer’s rebuttal, clarifications and corrections to negative notions of other writers about the subject.

However, the writer must not forget to use proper citation for every borrowed thoughts or quotes from another writer in order to avoid plagiarism or stealing somebody’s intellectual property.

Tip No. 5. Grammar and Style

The last but not the least is grammar and style. These may sound complicated but these also can be learned by following basic guides. But in this article, the writer must consider the following questions: Do the sentences follow the basic agreement between noun and verb, adjectives and adverbs, articles and preposition? Do the paragraphs follow the basic rule of using an indent? Are the punctuations in the right places? Are borrowed ideas and direct quotes properly acknowledged? Does the entire write up use only citation style like MLA or APA Citation Style?

Are the sentences and paragraphs constructed in a clear and concise manner? Most of the Essay writing UK experts advise writers to keep their sentences simple, straight to the point, and free of superfluous words as these can only confuse readers.
