Dodge Introduces The 2014 Dart Blacktop

Introduced at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, the 2014 Dodge Dart Blacktop is an expansion of the Dodge brand's popular Blacktop lineup. The Blacktop packages offer customization from the factory and in doing so give the vehicles a sporty, sinister look. The successful packages were already offered on the Avenger, Challenger, Charger, Grand Caravan, and Journey. The Dodge Blacktop is built to give customers a sporty, distinct look that's customized by the factory at an excellent value. The customized vehicles add select exterior paint colors, as well as unique Gloss Black wheels and some unique interior touches. Blacktop packages have become a signature for the Dodge brand and add an aggressive look that has become popular with customers.

With the Dart Blacktop package the 2014 Dart Blacktop shows its sinister side. The package is based on the 2014 Dart SXT model with the Rallye Appearance Group. Unique features are also within the interior. These include Black/Ruby Red premium cloth, Ruby Red accent stitching on the instrument panel brow, seat bolsters, and center console. A black/light tungsten cloth interior is also available. Technologically the Dodge Dart Blacktop boasts some nice features for a more advanced ride. There is UConnect 8.4 CD/MP3 radio with 8.4-inch touchscreen radio, Sirius XM Satellite radio, navigation and Cold Weather Group, which includes heated exterior mirrors. Heated front premium cloth seats add comfort for rides in cold weather. Tire pressure monitoring display and remote start are a couple more features that round out the rewarding ride offered in the bold vehicle.

The Blacktop can also be equipped with Sun and Sound Group, just as all Dodge Dart SXT models. This features a power express open/close sunroof, nine alpine speakers with subwoofer, iPod control, and floating island bezel illuminated instrument panel surround and glove box lamp, among numerous other features. Sinister styling takes a step forward and makes the Dart sharper than ever with the Blacktop package that adds a blacked-out, sport appearance to an already bold ride.
