Who Will Need A Tourist Visa For Thailand?
There are at least 195 countries or sovereign nations in the world. From this list, 48 countries – major nations from Europe and North America, do not need a tourist visa to Thailand under the tourist visa exemption category. There are the 48 countries, whose nationals can visit Thailand for a holiday with just a valid passport and adequate finances. In other words, they won’t need a tourist visa to enter Thailand. They are:

Next up, there are 21 countries that can receive visa on arrival. You just need a valid passport and 10,000 Baht per person. These applicants can stay in Thailand for maximum 15 days only. These countries include:

There are a few nationals that can stay in Thailand for 90 days without any visa such as Argentina, Brazil, Korea, Chile and Peru. There are select foreigners that can enter Thailand with just an ordinary passport as well, for 14 to 30 days without any visa requirements. They are:
1. Laos
2. Mongolia
3. Russia
4. Vietnam
5. Cambodia
Other foreign nationals, though, will need to apply for a visa. The standard requirements for Thailand tourist visa are:
• Valid passport
• Thailand visa application form
• Recent photographs
Most nationals can enter Thailand very easily. The tourist visa allows you to stay in the kingdom for 30 to 60 days only. However, immigration officer can reject any tourist visa application or ask for additional documents, if required. So, enjoy your holiday in the heavenly Thai destinations.
