The same as professionals, I also have my experience and feelings. In past three years, I got 7 times for a raise. And I am from the staff to the director smoothly. However, I am the fastest growing one of all employees in the company. I am sure that there are many better people who have read this article. But for those friends who are eager to get help, I still want to write about my own experience to share with you.
Be sure to know your future goals
This is a problem that almost all entry friend will face. These questions will become obvious when you get into the workplace in one to three years. It is not obvious after three years. Because you have been tortured by the reality for a long time. You have been assimilated to the uneven phenomenon and you also become accustomed. Your ambition is crushed by the reality. So you begin to change from an ambitious young man to a mediocre suddenly mediocrity. You become an ordinary worker for living. Ability is important, but it does not represent all
This ability here refers to the professional skills. You can find that ability is not so important as you think when you step into the workplace. You will find a man whose ability is not too strong become your boss. Just because he has been in this company for ten years. This shows that "experience" is the source of your promotion. This kind of phenomenon is particular in the state-owned enterprises and government agencies. Sometimes you may find those who have good relationship with the boss get promoted. This suggests that the relationship is also a capital. For some friends, they may be a contemptuous disregard of these soft power. A lot of people will say, should I injustice myself if the boss love flatterers? Unfortunately, I'll tell you the answer is yes. You must learn to bootlick. To declare that I am not teaching you to cheat. You must learn to properly handle the various relationships getting along with people. Don't lose your criteria. Keep an empty cup mentality
I have seen a lot of university graduates. They often brag everywhere after entering the company. They say they behave well at school. They say they could get a better job. They seem very grievance. Here I would like to remind those college students who are going into the workplace. This attitude is not good! Don't think you are very fantastic.China is short of everything but it is not short of people. If you have skills, you should prove to somebody else instead of complaining. Good people have a very high quality. They have a inclusive heart. Then you will get more development opportunities and you will gain the respect of others in the workplace.
Take the first job seriously
This view is more meaningful for college students. Now some various units, such as the media, the experts and so on, have been advocating employment first and then choosing. This argument is not only showed this year, but also many years ago. I believe that when we graduated from college, most of us have believed it. It is more important to get a job to earn money to eat. But according to my own experience and the reality of the development in the workplace, I disagree with this idea. The first step is important.
Understand the common sense
Work is just like a big melting pot. In the workplace, it is not just to earn a bowl of rice to eat, it is more important to understand the reason of society life. If you do not understand the basic reason, you will lose respect and development opportunities. I've seen a lot of people. Although they have been working for many years, they even don't understand the most basic common sense. To be strict with yourself. To learn to listen. To be faithful.
Learn to obey the rules of the game
In the workplace, you are affected by various constraints. It is full of unfair phenomena everywhere. For example, the boss will deduct your pay if you are late for work. But you never get overtime pay when you work overtime. This is one of the most common phenomenon. In this world, don't expect a fair. The relationship between the employees and the boss is like a game. For example, playing the remote control helicopters seems easy. But it has game rules. Games will have the plan, otherwise, the game can’t be played. It is very normal that you don't like this kind of phenomenon at the beginning. Because you are pure when you are new in the workplace. If you are not the rules of the game makers, you have two choices: obey or leave.
Chance favors only the prepared person
No matter how you complain, no matter how you are unhappy, Future things belongs to your own. The boss will not hold any heart for you. You should calm down to think instead of complaining. It is better to improve your basic skills.
