Q. What is the price range of the villas?

The price ranges from $1500 to $10000 per week. There are certain factors, which determine the price of a villa like size, décor, number of bedrooms, architectural design, the island or region it is in, the location of the villa, and the time of year you choose.

Q. How is the price determined?

It depends on the villa, the season, the location, individual preferences and the villa management company. Amenities, location, inclusive services, quality, and the popularity of a villa are the factors that influence the price. Generally the price of an average villa with a pool is $2000 per bedroom per week.

Q. What are some of the additional costs?

Before booking a villa you should check with your reservation agent as there are some add on costs in some locations. These may be pool heating, electricity consumption above a certain level, house heating, laundry service by maid, internet usage, and phone usage for long distance calls.

Q. What are ...
... some of the advantages of a villa versus a hotel?
Your freedom to choose your own pace and style. You have privacy at your pool and in your villa with your family and friends. There is no dependence on hotel schedules; here you can cook and eat at any time.

Q. How far in advance do I need to book the villa?

It basically depends on the villa; they are usually booked a few months in advance. If you have confirmed that you want a particular villa for a specific time period, then put a deposit on it, as in most cases it is first come first served. You can also put your name on a waiting list if your desired villa has not the availability you want.
For checking availability use the search tool in the left hand navigation bar. Enter dates and destination and see the availability for your dates.

Q. When do I need to put a deposit down to reserve the villa?

Usually within 5-14 days of reserving a villa for your vacation. The reservation isn't considered to be valid until the deposit money is received. A valid credit card number is required at the time of booking in order to guarantee the reservation until a check or wire transfer is received.

Q. What are the cancellation fees?
It varies from destination to destination; a cancellation 60 days before the travel date will usually result in 20-25% of the gross rental price, cancellation between 60 and 30 days before arrival will result in a 50% deduction and cancellation within 30 days will result in full forfeiture of the gross rental. So check the cancellation policy with your agent.

Q. How many people can I bring with me?

Maximum occupancy is stated in the villa description, but if it is not, then it is assumed that the maximum occupancy of any villa is two people per bedroom. If you arrive with additional people then the rental company will have grounds for asking you to leave the villa. If you have a last minute guest then they will help you to find supplemental villa or hotel accommodation or possibly assist you in finding a larger villa.
