How To Make Mouthwatering Pav Bhaji At Home?

To make lip-smacking Pav Bhaji one needs to take care of few things, use fresh vegetables and grind them, do not let them stay intact as more Bhaji appears like a sauce better it tastes. Use good quality Pav Bhaji Masala powder to cook, there are many spices which are needed in just right quantity to make Bhaji, sometimes just little mistake can mess up taste of entire dish. Here is ingredients list to cook Pav Bhaji. 8 Pav, 4 tablespoons of Butter and one Teaspoon Majithia Pav Bhaji Masala Powder, keep these away for a while as these will be needed later. Take 1 and half cups of boiled and mashed potatoes, 1 cup finely chopped Cauliflower, half cup green peas, half cup finely chopped carrots and 1 cup of finely chopped Onions for garnishing. Take chilies cut them into small pieces and boil them with water, sieve the red chili pieces out and mix them with garlic and grind them to form a thick paste. Once these ingredients are in place light up the stove and put a flat fry pan over one and a deep utensil over another.

Put carrots, cauliflower and peas in deep utensil along with reasonable quantity of water to boil. Add butter to heated frying pan and sauté onion and capsicum for few minutes. Add chili-garlic paste and sauté till the onions are soft. Add tomatoes and simmer till oil separates. When oil has started to separate in frying pan, sieve the boiled vegetables from deep utensil and add these to the frying pan. Add Turmeric powder, Chili powder, black salt and plain salt according to taste. Simmer the mixture for few minutes and let all the ingredients mix well. Add boiled and mashed potatoes and mash all the vegetables with potato masher. Add half cup of water, do not add more water as thin or loose gravy does not taste good with Pav and let the mixture sit for few minutes.

Cut Pav in two pieces dry heat them and add butter and sprinkle some Majithia Pav Bhaji Masala over them. Serve Bhaji garnished with lemon wedges and chopped onions along with Pav.
