Do You Love Sports? Have You Tried Power Kiting Yet?

Recently I was trying to find a cool way to spruce up my sports life. As of late it seems like I work so much I barely even get time to swim anymore! So when I can, I try to find new things to do that are really going to excite me, that I can do almost ANY time of the year where I am from (FL) and that wont kill me in the process. I like life! So I started looking into power kiting. A power kite or traction kite is a large kite designed to provide significant pull to the user.
They come in three main forms: flexifoil power kite, leading edge inflatables and Supporting Leading Edge. There are also rigid-framed kites and soft single skin kites. There are several different control systems used with these kites which have two to five lines and a bar or handles. This is a pretty cool sport just by even looking at photos, but once you really start reading up about it you will become more and more excited, I can promise you that!
One of the first things you are going to need IF you decide to do this sport (like any other) is the equipment. Don't have the equipment, then you will have to buy it. Depending on ...
... what store you go to you are going to find high quality products with a nice (fair) price tag attached. Some of the products I found can be listed below, so you can take a look online and find out more:
Trainer Kites: 2 Line Trainer Rush 3 (III) - Looking for a quality inexpensive trainer kite to learn how to kitesurf quickly? Then the all new 2009 HQ Rush (III) 3 is your answer. The Rush III Trainer is a perfect two line trainer kite for simplicity and budget minded individuals. With its simple construction bridle construction and low aspect ratio, the HQ Rush III is an easy kite to control and comes complete and ready to fly! This is a perfect training kite if you are just starting out in this sport. Plus, its a budget kite that is very user-friendly and easy to control. Once you figure this guy out, you can graduate onto some of the kites below.
Flex Foil Kite: Flexifoil Blade V - Foil kites are soft kites based on the design of the parafoil. They consist of a number of cells running fore to aft, some or all of which are open at the front to allow air to inflate the kite so it takes on an aerofoil section. Due to the amount of power that these kites can generate, they can be used for a variety of different activities including kitesurfing, kiteboarding on land, snowkiting, kite buggying and recreational kiting.
HQ Hydra H2O: This is the first and only water relaunchable trainer kite. This is truly amazing. I watched the video on it and I was sitting there dumbfounded the whole time. Its a pretty piece of equipment and it doesn't cost a lot either especially for what it does. HQ Power kites introduces the Hydra, the world`s first and only water relaunchable trainer foil. Extremely stable and easy to fly, this closed cell ram-air foil has no bladders to inflate or replace, yet it floats on water. A third line provides the safety system and the ability to reverse launch, making it perfect for use with absolute beginners. The Hydra flies great in low winds and generates plenty of pull for bodydrags when the wind is strong.
Ozone Power Kite: This is another one you should check out if you are a Beginner - Intermediate. Beginner - Intermediate kites are generally stable, easy to relaunch and have a large wind range. The "Bow" style kite posesses these characteristics the most.(Examples: Cabrinha Switchblade, North Vegas, Naish Shockwave, GK Sonic, Ocean Rodeo ONE, Ozone Instinct). Ozone is a company made up of free flying professionals; They come from a background paragliding, wind surfing and snowboarding, and have a common interest in fast exciting sports that let you know you are alive and kicking.
