What took nature years to accomplish could now be achieved in a mere 7 to 8 months. This was a major achievement for the industry and the rest of the stakeholders. More red meat meant no more red meat deficit which eventually translated to more money. Profiteering is one of the reasons why this practice attracted the likes of the different interest groups.
