Consumers will have a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 9-speed automatic transmission. They will also have a choice of FWD, a Jeep Active AWD drivetrain, or an Active Drive Low AWD drivetrain, which will be standard equipment for the off-road, trail-rated TRAILHAWK trim model. The Drive Action Low drivetrain is mated with the 9-speed automatic transmission and a lower 4:334:1 axle ratio that provides super-precise maneuvering over rocks.
