At least in Mumbai, I know how it is. We don’t seem to get over the local snack shop that has long shut or can’t buy something without a legacy, especially when hosting guests over for food. But the options available are insanely countless. For instance, everyone staying in Mumbai is aware of Lokhandwala Market in Andheri West. Look at it this way. You are the customer and you call the shots. Can you imagine, for something as cheap as snacks, shopkeepers are open to going to any lengths to have you buy. Even sell online and let you taste it and then choose to order. Mind you. Selling food online is a big, big challenge especially something as cheap as snacks. Imagine the costs they are incurring to set up an online shop, stock it up and install an order-delivery mechanism in place. So, when someone lee to ready to go to such lengths and stress out for your party, why bother. It’s their job, they are masters at it and no matter how much you try, and you can’t always get everything right (read tasty). So, let go, log online, and choose your grub and order within a matter of seconds or minutes. And importantly, let that celebration be about you and your special occasion, not the snacks you are going to serve!
